Megan O’Dowell is an American literary translator who specializes in Spanish-language translation and particularly Latin American fiction. She has won and been nominated for several awards, including the National Book Award in 2022, the Premio Valle-Inclan in 2018, and the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 2020. Currently, she lives in Santiago, Chile.
