I was late when it comes to the world of Moomin, only encountering it in my mid-twenties when I was really delving into the world of independent and vintage comics.
Tove Jansson
(August 9th, 1914 – June 27th, 2001)
Tove Marika Jansson was a Finnish author, illustrator, and painter. She wrote several novels and worked for some time as a professional artist as well as an illustrator, but she is perhaps most well-known for creating the beloved Moomin novels and comic strip. Jansson won several awards for her work.
