SJ Perelman

February 1, 1904 – October 17, 1979

Sidney Joseph Perelman was an American humourist and screenwriter. He was a frequent contributor to The New Yorker and other magazines. For some time, he and his wife Laura West worked on screenplays (both credited and uncredited) for MGM. Perelman worked with the Marx brothers, but disliked both being known for that work and Groucho Marx.
